The Board of Directors (BOD) is the highest governing body of the Union. Its decision, whether rendered by ballot or in session, shall be the final governing decision of the Union and shall be binding on the Executive Board, the Officers and the members, both active and inactive.
The BOD is comprised of all the LEC Presidents at all the AFA represented airlines. The BOD meets annually in a city where members are based. The BOD sets the budget for the coming year, acts on agenda items and elects the international officers every four years. |

AGENDA ITEMS
Changes to the AFA Constitution and Bylaws are brought to the BOD in the forms of any Agenda item. An agenda item can come from any member or council but must have the endorsement of an LEC, MEC or International officer. The item is taken to a committee at the BOD where it is debated. The Committee can decide whether to bring the item to the floor for a vote and whether or not it endorses the item. |
