SCHEDULING COMMITTEE
Position to be filled at the MEC Meeting on June 14, 2005. Term of office is

Qualifications:
- US Airways Flight Attendant
- AFA member in good standing
SCHEDULING COMMITTEE
A. DUTIES
1. Make recommendations to the Company with regards to establishing or modifying policies, procedures and parameters for the scheduling of flight attendants.
2. Meet with the Company prior to the implementation of changes to the Scheduling system and jointly develop such policies, procedures and parameters which shall not be outside the legalities of the current Flight Attendant Agreement, and shall adhere to as nearly as practicable to prior established practices unless by mutual agreement between AFA and the Company.
3. Provide input for the Company's review and consideration in the construction of primary and secondary lines that differ from the pilot's in accordance with Sec.9.A.1. of the Flight Attendant Agreement dated May 1, 2000 prior to the completion of the monthly line building process. The Committee will review such lines and may propose changes to such lines.
4. Meet with the Company should lines of flying need to be constructed outside of the agreed upon parameters or at the request of the Company.
5. Meet with the Company monthly to review lines of flying.
6. Provide input to the Company regarding pairings which otherwise may be legal but which may cause excessive fatigue or service difficulties.
7. Perform other duties as instructed by the MEC.
The MEC Scheduling Committee shall have a Chairperson elected by the MEC. Duties of the Chairperson shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
A. DUTIES
1. Coordinating meetings with other members of the committee.
2. Reporting to the MEC on committee activities.
3. Working with the budget provided by the MEC, if any.
