Presidential/VP Debate Schedule and Absentee Ballot Information
Posted On: Oct 07, 2012

US Airways MEC Government Affairs Newsletter

October 7, 2012

In this Issue:
  • Presidential/VP Debate Schedule and Absentee Ballot Information

Dear Members.

The Choices we make on November 6 will determine:

  • Our safety and security
  • Our retirement and health care benefits
  • Our ability to maintain limits on foreign control and ownership of U.S. airlines
  • The implementation of workplace safety and health protections
  • Adequate rest requirements
  • The environment, under which we will be negotiating collective bargaining agreements

How you vote is a personal decision. AFA recommends President Obama and believes he is the best choice for Americas working families. The Choice is yours.

Presidential & Vice Presidential Debate Schedule

The second presidential debates will take place on October 16 at Hofstra University, Hempstead, New York. This debate will be in the form of a town meeting and will be moderated by Candy Crowley, CNN Chief Political Correspondent.
