Crew Accommodations Update November/December 2007

The company has notified AFA that due to the unusually large volume of RON's for the month of December in LAS that a second property will be needed. Our current room needs fluctuate in LAS any given month from 65-90 rooms on average but for the month of December they exceed 125 just on the East side. Our current property can only accommodate up to 90 crewmembers due to their current occupancy levels so approximately 35 crewmembers will be relocated to another facility.

During the summer AFA, ALPA and the company performed a site inspection of two other properties in that market because of some security concerns that existed then. Of the two properties visited only one was recommended which will be used for any crewmembers that can't be accommodated by our current property. It is uncertain at this time how long the high number of RON's will last but as soon as they do return to normal we will once again all be housed at our current facility.

Also the company has been notified by our property in FRA that they may not continue operating under their current flag after April 2008 due to lease expiration. Since the buildings future is uncertain the company plans on performing a site inspection of that market with AFA and ALPA in early spring.

Our LAX long property which is located near one of the beach areas went under new ownership earlier in the year and had plans to renovate the total facility by years end. Unfortunately those plans have been postponed and it is uncertain if the renovation will even occur at all. Also the property has indicated that they may be unwilling to renew our soon to expire contact since they may take the property in a different direction. AFA, ALPA and the company will conduct a site inspection of this market soon for a more suitable facility.

Property Updates

CLT/S - This facility continues to have many problems that they can't seem to correct; transportation, cleanliness issues, room readiness, ECT. Therefore AFA, ALPA and the company will conduct a site inspection of the CLT market for a more suitable property in next few weeks.

ILM/S - This facility also continues to underperform in many areas with cleanliness issues being the biggest problem and with no apparent corrections being made. AFA, ALPA and the company will be conducting a site inspection in this market in the next few weeks for a more suitable property.

DFW/S - The recently inspected and approved short RON facility by AFA and ALPA lost their major hotel flag and became an independent. Once going independent the condition of the facility started deteriorating at that point we moved to the property that the West had been utilizing for some time and have not received any negative reports to date.
