Dear Members
Please be advised that flight attendants are NOT to speak to anyone or make any statements verbally or in writing after taking a drug/alcohol test. If management is requiring you to take a drug or alcohol test due to an allegation by another employee, comply with the drug/alcohol testing, however, afterwards, if management takes you into a conference room...

DO NOT MAKE STATEMENTS UNTIL A UNION REPRESENTATIVE IS CONTACTED, either by phone or in person.

You have the "right" to union representation, and NO meeting can be conducted without union involvement.

Contribute to the Pegasus Project

Pegasus ProjectThe Pegasus Project's mission is to provide short-term emergency grants for members of AFA who are experiencing financial hardship due to a critical, life-threatening, illness or injury. Pegasus has helped flight attendants with cancer, lupus, severe back injury and disc degeneration, addiction to pain medication, clinical depression, injury from turbulence, degenerative nerve disease, hepatitis, HIV, AID's and memory loss due to inhaling toxic fumes on an aircraft. These efforts are accomplished with compassion, confidentiality and the preservation of dignity and respect for the individuals concerned.

The success of Pegasus is directly attributable to the generosity of member donations, fund raising events held by Local Councils and contributions made through the United Way Campaign Fund Drives. Many of our AFA carriers will soon begin their United Way Campaigns. To support Pegasus we encourage you to give through these Fund Drives, by writing in "The Pegasus Project" on the United Way enrollment form. Direct contributions to support Pegasus may be mailed to: The Pegasus Project, P.O. Box 40034, Phoenix, AZ 85067. Donations to Pegasus are tax-deductible and will help keep our co-workers lights on and food on their table.

For more information on The Pegasus Project please use the Pegasus link on the home page of our AFA International website at www.afanet.org. For assistance from the Pegasus Project please call our toll free numbers at 1-866-785-0449 or download an application form from the link on our International website.
Thank you for helping Pegasus assist AFA members in need!
