Dear Members,

If you got'em wear'em!

Today is Monday, May 05, 2008 and the soft launch of the new uniform program. Please keep in mind that you cannot mix and match old and new uniform pieces. Because of the shipping delay in some of the uniform pieces the In-flight department is also using May as the "get out of a jail" grace period month.

The uniform team has been advised of some delivery dates regarding items that are currently on backorder.

  • Men's Pants . . . will ship from the warehouse on May 07

  • Knit wear . . . will ship from the warehouse on May10

  • Women's Blouses . . . will ship from the warehouse on May 10

June 02, 2008 is the full cut over date for the new uniform. If, by the week of May 26, 2008, you have not received your uniform or enough pieces that will allow you to work a 4-day trip please contact Candi or myself as soon as possible.

If you want to check up on your order you can do so through the TwinHill website www.usairways.twinhill.com or by calling customer service 888-206-0699. If you are still in need of assistance, you can contact Todd Vigil todd.vigil@usairways.com or Valerie Dirks valerie.dirks@usairways.com.

For those flight attendants waiting on the arrival of their "special instructions" uniforms please contact Todd Vigil or TwinHill customer service for shipping information. The information that the committee received from TwinHill was that they are already in production as of this writing. The company and TwinHill were well aware of these orders for several months. Candi and I continue to press for information and a confirmed shipping date. We are asking that you do the same.

If you continue to encounter sizing issues or other problems follow the return instructions located on your packing slip. Please be advised that all of the flight attendant bases do have fit lines now available. You must contact your respective supervisor or crew service center to make an appointment. We have been advised by the In-flight departments that walk in appointments will be handled on a "time available" basis.

We look forward to seeing all of you in the new uniform.
