| I have been getting some phone calls and e-mails asking the seniority of the Transfers and Displacements for June 2006. This morning, I sat at my computer for 3 hours and dissected the entire list for you. I added in all the active transfers and displacements, and left out the Extended Leaves, Company Business, and
VFLR's. Out of a total of 154 (68 transfers/86displacements), only 118 are active or on a MED/MAT leave. These numbers can change and are meant to give you a rough idea of how the additional flight attendants will affect your seniority. I have broken it down into years and months. Remember, the Medical Leaves, Company Business, the Extended Leaves and VFLR's are added into the base seniority, but aren't active and do not bid. Hope this helps:

FYI on Cleaning:
The contract reads;
2. Such cabin cleaning duties shall be defined as, and limited to, the
following: collecting papers and refuse in the cabin of the aircraft; crossing
seatbelts; stowing pillows and blankets in the overhead compartments;
removing visible items from the seatback pockets; and collecting and
stowing magazines as applicable. A flight attendant will not be required to
perform such cabin cleaning duties after the conclusion of his/her duty day.
You duty day ends 15 minutes after the aircraft blocks in. Which means, if it only takes 10 minutes to deplane, that leaves you 5 minutes to clean. Also remember, if you don't clean, the crew taking over the aircraft gets stuck with a dirty plane. |
