Dear PHL Flight Attendants:

Info Rep Program
At the last MEC Meeting in February, the MEC resurrected the Info Rep Program for contract negotiations. This program will stop rumors in their tracks and keep us all informed of the latest up to date information from the Negotiating Committee. We are looking for those of you that are willing

to participate in this program. We would like 35-40 volunteers that are willing to take the information given them by the Coordinator/Point Person and pass it out to the flight attendants they fly with. If you are interested please read below and contact Andrew Perkins.

"The AFA MEC has agreed to start up the InfoRep program during the AWA/USA contract negotiations. I have been asked, and agreed to volunteer as the point person for the Philadelphia base. I need a team of 35 to 40 people interested in being part of this important group.

InfoReps will carry bulletins issued directly from our AFA negotiators to share while out on the line, making sure every Philadelphia flight attendant has the correct information about the progress of these important contract talks.

To add you name as a volunteer, please send your contact information to andyperkins@comcast.net or call me at (215) 888-7456.

I ask your assistance in passing this along to everyone that you have on your mail list, the more response we have the better the program will be.

Thanks,

Andy"

Jump Seat Issues
Flight Attendants are still having jump seat issues in PHL and other cities. Remember, you cannot be bumped off the jump seat for weight and balance; this is part of our contract. It is in the Pilot's FOM and the agents have it in Sabre. The dispatcher can verify this if the agent is giving you a hard time. I spoke to Jeff Webster, who is in the Weight and Balance division of dispatch and he assured me, his dispatchers would give the correct information to an agent if they called.

If you are still having problems, please write the flight number, gate, and agents name if you can get it down and call us with this information.

Recalls and Base Alignment
As many of you have heard, the Company is recalling 400 flight attendants this summer. There are also openings for 375 flight attendants for June 1 in PHL. This is due to seasonal European flying and added destinations. Since there are only openings for 30 in LGA and 20 in BOS and DCA, with displacements to be happening in PIT and CLT, I would assume the majority of the recalled flight attendants would be coming to PHL. These involuntarily furloughed flight attendants have been out at least 2 and a half years. Let's make sure they feel welcome when they return to the line in June 2006.
