Increase in Secondary Lines
for April
After many months of pressure from AFA to the Company,
the company has agreed, on a trial basis for the month of April, to drop from 20% reserves down to 17%. This is reflected in the Secondary lines. In March, we had 234 (not including LOD/O lines), and in April we will have 305 (not including LOD/O lines). This is a net gain of 71 block positions. For those top 71 Reserves, hopefully this will make your life easier, and for those left on Reserve, hopefully this will give you more trips to fly on your Reserve days (as there are fewer fighting for the trips).
Since this is on a trial basis, I ask each and every one of you to help make this permanent. Let's show the Company that making as many blocks as possible out of the open time is a win/win situation for us all.
