  • Travel Guest Passes

  • AFA Legislative Committee Needs You

Dear PHL Flight Attendants,

Travel Guest Passes

For many of you that use your guest travel passes you may have noticed that your allotment for 2007 is more than 8. The reason for this is that the company experienced some technical difficulties with their computers at the end of December and those who tried to use their guest passes could not do so. So, if you had any passes left over from 2006 they have rolled over, but only for a limited time. You can use the remainder of your 2006 passes as long as they are purchased by January 31 no later than midnight MST. You must book online, pay online or at the ticket counter (please use the employee ticketing station if open). The passes are good for one year from the initial ticket date. The date, time and destination can be changed but not the name on the pass once the ticket is issued. Check your pass profile on the Hub to see if you still have some passes left. Don't delay because this offer is only good until January 31 at midnight MST.

Democrat or Republican.....Congress.....White House.... Senator....House of Representatives

Does this make your heart race - just hearing those words? Do you feel an endorphin rush? Well, if you do then you're a politics junkie and we have the fix for you - the "AFA Legislative Committee." Congress has a new head of household and AFA has a new opportunity to get important legislative issues heard and possibly passed. AFA will be meeting with some of our strongest supporters that chair these committees. This will help our profession move forward. If this sounds like something you would be interested in contact the Council 70 office at 215-492-0840. Change comes from within.... be a part of it.

Thank You,

Brian Morgan, Interim LEC President
Kim Kaswinkel Interim LEC Vice President
Joshua Freeze Interim LEC Secretary
