Certified Election Results Council 82

I am proud to inform you that 62% of the membership had cast a ballot in the recent Election for the Officers of Council 82. This was just shy of the 72% participation for the Council in October 2004. These numbers are outstanding and are a true indication of the interest in YOUR UNION. I want to thank each and every one of you who participated and allowed your voice to be heard. Please find attached the Certified Election results for your Council Officers for a 3 year term beginning January 1, 2008.

I would like to recognize all the candidates for their hard work during this campaign. I would also ask you to join with me in congratulating the successful candidates and urge your support in their efforts on behalf of the entire membership during this term of office.
