In Memory of Mark Mitzner

I am deeply saddened to inform you of the loss of a dear LGA flight attendant this past weekend. Mark Mitzner had passed away unexpectedly on Friday as a result of an automobile accident. Mark began his career at US Airways as a flight attendant in PHL on November 6, 2000 ,was furloughed shortly thereafter in 2001 due to 9/11 and just recently returned to active flying in LGA June 2007 until his transfer to CLT effective 3/2/08 was awarded. I have been advised the family may have a Memorial Service later in March but I will pass on the additional information as this becomes available to me. I ask you to please keep Mark and his family in your prayers.

In Solidarity,

Rob Wessinger
