2009 Round 1 Results & Round 2
Bidding Reminders
Round 1 results of the 2009 Annual Vacation have been posted in your
CBS. PRINT AND SAVE YOUR CBS NOTICE. Be sure to print all of the pages
as your results may be on more than one page. The notice will show you
from which Bid Boxes your vacation was awarded and from which Bid
Choice. If you have days to bid in Round 2, the open dates for Round 2
will be included as well as the number of days you have to bid.
If you believe there may be a discrepancy with your Rounds 1 awards,
please have your CBS notice and your protective bid (Catcrew Option 13)
in hand before contacting InFlight Vacations at 1-800-327-0117, prompts
1, 5, 4 or 412-747-5456 or 703-872-2886.
Currently, many of you have Carry Forward (C/F) days that have not been
used this year. These days will now be available to be bid in Round 2.
Again, please pay close attention to your CBS Vacation notice especially
if you have days to bid in Round 2. Note: If you bid and are awarded any
of your Unscheduled days from this year in the December MRB, your C/F
days for 2009 will be reduced accordingly.
If you were awarded a 2-day OR a 3-day period in Round 1, you will not
be able to bid any 2-day or 3-day periods in Round 2. 1-day vacation
periods are not allowed. Note: If you have a 1, 2, or 3 day period you
may bid them as Filler Days provided that you were not awarded your
maximum for 2009.
If you fail to bid or do not bid enough times in Round 2, your days will
be assigned.
Filler Days
You are permitted to bid Filler Days in Round 2. If you plan to carry
over Filler Days from 2008 to 2009, only 50% of the total number of
Filler Days from 2008 can go over to 2009 as C/F Filler Days and are
considered as part of the 20% maximum allowable (up to 6).
Any unused Filler Days from 2008 that cannot go over as C/F Fill days to
2009 will be carried over to 2009 as Regular C/F vacation days. You will
be able to schedule these days through the MRB process during 2009.
The C/F Fill and Unused Filler Days from 2008 will be carried forward to
2009 on or around January 15th, 2009.
Round 2 is scheduled to open on Monday, October 6th and close on
Thursday, October 20th. Please refer to theHub for all 2009 Vacation
memos.
