ANNUAL BENEFITS ENROLLMENT

In the next few days you will receive a packet of information at your home regarding the annual enrollment for 2009 Benefits. You may enroll online at www.eBenefitsUS.com from October 15, 2008 - October 30, 2008. (Enrollment closes at 8 PM EDT on October 30, 2008.)

Benefit Fairs will be held in the following bases where you can ask questions, prior to annual enrollment.

  • October 2, 2008 CLT Airport

  • October 8, 2008 DCA Airport

  • October 14, 2008 PHL Airport

  • October 14, 2008 LGA Airport

  • October 15, 2008 BOS Airport

Please contact your base for times and locations. Additional site visits may be found on the Benefits Page of TheHub or Wings.

Highlights and Changes

Health Insurance Premiums: (The amount deducted from your paycheck) will be reduced by approximately 8%. Coverage remains the same with no change in co-payments and deductibles. You will have a choice once again of Blue Cross or United Health Care.

Dental Insurance Premiums: will be reduced by 20%. Coverage remains the same with co-payments and deductibles.

CVA/Caremark has two new features beginning January 1, 2009.
"Maintenance Choice" - an option to get a mail order supply of prescription drugs through the traditional mail order process (in the mail at your home) or any CVS retail pharmacy nationwide (pick up your 90 day prescription at your local CVS). Co-payments are the same for mail order or at your local CVS.

$10 co-payments for some generic drugs at the mail order (either thru mail order or at your local CVS) - a list of generic maintenance drugs is maintained by CVS/Caremark and is subject to review on a periodic basis.

Superior Vision will replace Spectera for Basis Vision Care as a part of the voluntary vision care program

Contact Lenses - up to $120 allowance (was $105) with no-copayment
Eyeglass Frames - up to $140 retail allowance (was $130).
Over 38,000 in-network providers nationwide including EyeMasters, LensCrafters, PearleVision, Wal-Mart Vision and Sam's Club Vision.

Conexis Flexible Spending

New optional and easy to use Conexis Debit Card when making eligible healthcare purchases at qualified locations. - The debit card will use your annual health care pledged balances directly.

Claim forms are not required for debit card usage however; you must keep receipts for IRS audit purposed in case they are requested either for your tax return or Conexis audit.

You may enroll in the Debit Card Option with Conexis after January 1, 2009 online provided you enrolled in the FSA during the open enrollment period in October, 2008.
