ANNUAL ENROLLMENT IS COMING! ATTEND A BENEFIT FAIR NEAR YOU!

Recently you should have received a postcard in the mail notifying you that Annual Enrollment is right around the corner (Oct 15-29). The Human Resources team will be hosting Benefit Fairs around the system starting next week to help you decide on the best plan for you and your family. Our vendors, including United HealthCare, Blue Cross Blue Shield and MetLife will be on hand to answer any questions you may have. There will also be raffles and giveaways! The Benefit Fairs will run Oct. 1-12, and employees are welcome to attend any fair at any location. At the Benefit Fair, you will get the tools you need to enroll and learn:

  • How to update or make changes to your current health care plans
  • How to enroll in a Flexible Spending Account
  • Step by Step instructions on enrolling on line

And much more! The first round of Benefit Fairs starts the week of Oct. 1 at the following locations:

Mon. Oct. 1st

  • LAX 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Conference Room 303 Mezz. Level, T1
     
  • Winston-Salem (Call Ctr) 12 - 5 p.m. Heritage Room Tues. Oct. 2nd
     
  • PHX 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Conference RM A , A concourse, T4
     
  • CLT 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. Ramp Level Admin Area
     
  • CLT (Hangar) 1 - 6 p.m. Hangar Wed. Oct. 3rd
     
  • PIT (Hangar) 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. Break Room
     
  • PIT (OCC/SOC) 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. Cafeteria 2nd floor
     
  • PIT (OCC/SOC) 11 p.m. - 1 a.m. Cafeteria 2nd floor
     
  • SAN 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Break Room behind the ticket counter

CORPORATE SUBSTANCE ABUSE POLICY AND CORPORATE ALCOHOL MISUSE PREVENTION POLICY MERGED

The America West and US Airways Corporate Substance Abuse and Alcohol Misuse Prevention (AMPP) Policies have been merged. You can find copies of the new policies by:

  • Asking your manager or direct supervisor for a copy
  • Going to awaCompass under HR &Benefits, go to Policies and Procedures
  • Visiting theHub and clicking on Divisions and then Human Resources

A letter will be mailed to all employees providing more details. There will also be a Q & A in the AboutUS.

All employees should familiarize themselves with the new corporate policy on Substance Abuse and Alcohol Misuse in the workplace. A letter describing the policies will be mailed to all employees providing more details of the merged policies. Drug and Alcohol related FAQs are available on theHub and awaCompass and an upcoming issue of AboutUS.
