AFA US Airways MEC E-Line for September 18, 2004

Feedback to these changes is imperative. These changes were a result of these properties not wanting to continue business with US Airways. According to the Travel Services Purchasing Department, these properties are in violation of bankruptcy law and attorneys for US Airways will be sending letters to all properties reminding them of their responsibilities. In an effort to house crews these changes were made expeditiously and without review of the new properties selected. Information available to the committee is that the properties selected may or may not be permanent. Some markets will have to be visited. Nothing will be scheduled at this time.

The Travel Services Purchasing Department is currently contacting all properties to discuss continuing US Airways business. Further changes in other markets are a possibility. International markets are not expected to change. Due to this web site not being secure, we are unable to list the property names. Check the AFA board in your domicile for the name of replacement properties. A CBS message will be sent, upon check in, to notify crews of any hotel change

Again feedback is imperative. Please take the time to provide detailed information. Via OF310/Hotel form on the HUB or AFA Website, form received once submitted. OF310 Paper forms are available in each domicile but generally take a minimum of 10 days for most parties to receive.
