Dear Members,

The following CBS message was sent to all Flight Attendants.

Date: Monday, 12 September 2005 16:38 ET
To: Emc2-News-c
From: GUNSTEENS.T
Subject: NEW - CATCREW Option #40

Please be advised that we have added a new screen to CATS. This new screen is Option #40 in CATCREW. It is called the "Bid Awards Display" and shows you who was awarded each Line of Flying for the month and base selected.

In order to use the screen, you will need to type in the BASE desired. The bid month is automatically selected (currently showing Oct. 2005 bid month). If you want to see the previous month bid award, you must also type in the month and year desired (for example you may also see SEP05).

On the screen you will see NO in the first column. In the second column is the Emp, then the SENUM, AVL STAT, NAME, BLOCK, POS, and PAY IND.

NO = Seniority in the base, including those on a leave.
EMP = Employee number
SENUM = System Seniority number
AVL STAT = AVL status. If blank then the crewmember is available for duty. If there are XXX in the column, that crewmember is not available.
NAME
= Crewmember name
BLOCK
= Line awarded for selected month POS = Position awarded on the line PAY
IND
= Will show a "Y" if the crewmember was awarded the line as a "Pay Purposes Only" line. If the award is a "live" line a "N" will appear in this column.

Please pay attention to the bottom of the screen for the messages that appear there. When you open the screen you will see the message "MORE DATA EXISTS HIT PA1 TO CONTINUE". Once you have moved forward 5 screens using the PA1 key, you will note the message will change to "HIT ENTER TO CONTINUE". When you see that message, press the ENTER key to move to the next screen. Then you will be able to use the PA1 key 5 more times. This sequence will continue until you come to the end of the list for the base.

Thank you.
