Subject: Lodo Reductions (Nov 2006)

As a result of the seasonal pull down of Transatlantic flying and some reduced Caribbean flying, we will be reducing lod/o staffing in some languages.

If you are interested in being released from the Lod/o Program, please complete a Lod/o Request Form and submit it to Thelma Summers, InFlight Administration no later than. The fax numbers is 480.693.2878. The deadline for submitting requests is September 13, 2006.

Below is a summary of the number of positions being reduced by crew base and language:

PHL

Dutch - no change

French - no change

German - reduce by 4 flight attendants

Italian - reduce by 4 flight attendants

Spanish - reduce by 8 flight attendants

CLT

German - no change

Spanish - reduce by 2 flight attendants

Releases will be in seniority order until the number of releases needed is met. If too many flight attendants request release, extra requests will be held until the 90 waiting period is complete. Also if enough flight attendants don't request release from the program, the most junior flight attendants within the language will be returned to domestic flying.

Please contact Thelma Summers @ 480.693-5009 with any questions
