Due to problems accessing the Open Enrollment Web site, and because many Florida employees have had difficulty enrolling due to power outages caused by Hurricane Wilma, the BenefitCenter will accept open enrollment elections by phone through Friday, Nov. 4.

If you were unable to complete your open enrollment election through the BenefitCenter Web site, you can still make your 2006 elections by calling the BenefitCenter, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST at 1-800-872-4780 and pressing Prompt #1.

As a reminder, if you aren't making any changes, you don't have to do anything during this enrollment period. Your current elections (except Flexible Spending Account or "FSA" elections) will automatically renew on Jan. 1, at the 2006 rates. If you want to enroll in Flexible Spending for 2006, you must do so during this open enrollment.
