ETB Problem

The ETB opened tonight at 1800 as scheduled. There was a conflict error between FLICA and US Airways regarding the transfer of files that allowed FLICA to display trip pairings and data sort functions that FLICA admits was their problem. The outage was between 1800 and 1952 EST. FLICA has corrected the problem and assured US Airways that any data regarding posted or requested transactions during that outage have been recovered and all transactions posted or requested during that time frame will be processed normally in "Time Stamp" order. The Union received this information tonight from the US Airways IT department and will investigate and determine if the statements from FLICA and US Airways are valid. If the Union discovers that there were errors in posting and award requests, the Union will seek pay protections for any missed award.
