Pay Reduction Effective Dates

-- The following information regarding the 21% pay cut was provided to AFA by Senior Vice President Bruce Ashby --

In the November 15 pay date for flying in the month of October, flying through 10/17 will be paid at the pre-reduction rate and flying from 10/18 through the end of the month will be paid at a 21% reduction.

To clarify, for the 10/30 paydate, we will pay at pre-reduction rates. The first affected paycheck will be 11/15.

As for premiums and per diems, since both our request and the order refer to "base rates of pay", premiums and per diems will not be reduced.
