BENEFITS ENROLLMENT TIME

This year’s Annual Benefits Enrollment will be from October 15 - 29, 2007.   It is important for every Flight Attendant to enroll for your benefits for the 2008 year.

To enroll for your benefits you must go to: www.eBenefitsUS.com. There is NO paper registration.  All benefit registration must be done online.

1. If you enroll in the flexible spending account program you must sign up each year to have money taken out of your paycheck and placed in your account for your use.

2. If you do not sign up for Medical, Dental and Voluntary Vision and currently have these plans, you will automatically be enrolled in the SAME plans for 2008.

3. Blue Cross/Blue Shield or United Health Care?

All US Airways East employees will have the choice during this enrollment to select   either Blue Cross/Blue Shield or United Health Care as their insurance provider for next year. There is NO DIFFERENCE in price or plan benefits. The only difference is in the providers (doctors, hospitals, etc) that are participants in each plan. Each Flight Attendant must decide which insurance carrier has the better provider coverage in their area.

4. Once you have completed you enrollment, print out a copy of what you signed up for.  Please read and review this copy to make sure it is correct. Several Flight Attendants last year did not sign up for health insurance and they HAVE NO HEALTH INSURANCE FOR THIS YEAR!  Because of federal laws, there is only ONE TIME PER YEAR you can sign up for benefits unless there is a qualifying event such death, birth, marriage or divorce. So please check your printout carefully to see what you signed up for or did not sign up for. The company can tell if you printed out a copy of what you signed up for as well as the date and time you went online to sign up for benefits.

5. Even if you plan on no changes it is recommended to visit your benefits page to make sure all of your information is correct including your beneficiary designations.
