Pension Plan Termination and the Company

The AFA and its outside counsel have received numerous calls and inquiries from flight attendants concerning the letter recently sent by the Company concerning the motion to terminate our defined benefit pension plan. That letter advised you of a deadline to object to the Company's motion.

As we advised you in an earlier E-Line, the AFA is participating through counsel in the bankruptcy case. We will file an objection to the termination of the pension plan and intend to oppose the termination at the upcoming hearing. Members who wish to individually appear and oppose the termination are free to do so as well.
