Dear Members, Below is a link on theHUB for those flight attendants who requested a "list" of interline airlines for retirees and those who have 25/45 travel passes can travel on at discounted rates. 1. Subject: Zonal Employee Discount (ZED) Agreements: Teddy: If you go on theHub and enter the following link, it will take you to the list of other airlines that have ZED Agreements with us. It sets forth eligibility, fees, etc. Direct the FA who plans on retiring to this area. http://thehub.usairways.com/travel/zed/index.htm 2. Subject: RESERVE REPORT TIME: Per our ratified contract language located in the Tentative Agreement page 17. K. as follows: Replace Section 11. J.I. with "1. A reserve flight attendant shall have a MINIMUM of one hour and thirty minutes (1:30) from the time he/she is awarded/assigned a trip by crew scheduling to report to the airport. A reserve flight attendant may reside in a location that is consistent with compliance with this provision given normal surface transportation conditions". Translation: This language states shall have a MINIMUM of 1:30 minutes to report to the airport. Does not say to check-in point. Please make every "reasonable effort" to be at the airport according to the above language. Teddy MEC President |
