Dear Members,

JUNE DISPLACEMENTS

On March 23, 2006 I was told a total of 125 Flight Attendants, 80 Active and 45 Inactive would be displaced from PIT and a total of 64 Flight Attendants, 40 Active and 24 Inactive would be displaced from CLT effective June 1. The Director of Labor Relations, Inflight, gave me hard copies of the displacement letters, displacement request forms and a list of Flight Attendants affected from each base. Later that evening I received electronic copies of that information which I forwarded to the Local Council Presidents. The displacement letter for CLT I was given stated, "In order to balance our crew base staffing, I regret to inform you that you will be displaced from Charlotte effective June 1, 2006."

The information I was given was in conflict with the CBS message that indicated "possible displacements out of CLT".

This afternoon I was told by the Director of Crew Resources, Mike Finn, the information I was given last week was incorrect. According to Mr. Finn the PIT displacement numbers will remain as originally forecast but the CLT displacements will be contingent solely on the PIT displacements. Mr. Finn went on to clarify that any displacements out of CLT will be, "head for head based on the number PIT Flight Attendants who possibly displace to CLT."

Flight Attendants who receive either a notification of displacement (PIT) or possible displacement (CLT) will be required to submit a "June 2006 Displacement Location Request Form prior to Noon EDT on April 5, 2006.

The Company will be sending displaced Flight Attendants a displacement "packet" with information pertaining to contractual displacement rights and relocation information once the displacements have been processed. Please reference Section 5 "MOVING EXPENSES" of the 2004 Flight Attendant Agreement.

Your Local Councils will also be able to assist displaced Flight Attendants with contractual information and information pertinent to their new domiciles.

Thank you,

Mike Flores, President
The US Airways Master Executive Council
