Subject: SEC. LINE OVERPROJECTION DROPS

IMPORTANT DATE CHANGE.........SEC. LINE OVERPROJECTION DROPS - 3/13 @ 1800

In order to level the playing field, those flight attendants eligible to participate in the "Secondary Line Augmentation Process" whose projections are exceeding his/her monthly maximum due to vacation or carry-over trips can start the dropping process at 1800 on March 13th to coincide with the augmentation process.

Example: For April Secondary Lines the following applies...A flight attendant is on the 70/75 option. He/she has a line worth 80 hours consisting of four trips each worth 20 hours. The trips work on the 1st, 7th, 14th, and 21st. First the flight attendant calls scheduling to exercise his/her right to downward project. In this case, he/she drops the trip on the 21st and is projected to 60:00. The flight attendant, at his/her option, may ADD time to his/her line by picking up a 2 day worth 12:00 on the 28th.

A flight who is overprojected can't participate in augmentation until his/her overprojection is corrected. There is no swapping or exchanging trips or dates via augmentation. Augmentation is a manual "add" only process.

*Note: If you want to count the carry-over portion in the new month, you must sign for BOTH duty periods in the originating month and the new month.
