Dear Members,

The Company informed the Union they were not provided advanced notice of this requirement by the German government. The Union is investigating this situation and will provide additional information to you when it becomes available. If you have been directly affected by this situation please contact your local Union representatives at your earliest convenience.

Thank you,

The US Airways Master Executive Council

-----------------------

The following CBS message was sent to all flight attendants.

Subject: Non-US/European Passport Holders

Please be advised that the German government is enforcing a new ruling that any non-American or non-European passport holder (not including Canadian citizens) not in possession of an ICAO Crewmember Certificate or a Schengen Tourist Visa may be fined detained and/or deported. US Airways (as well as other carriers) are in the process of working with the European authorities to clear up this issue and find out exactly what paperwork non-US passport holders are required to present. Several US Airways flight attendants have already been fined and detained due to this situation. As a result of this change in ruling, we will be individually contacting each affected US Airways flight attendants listed in CATS as holding non-US or non-European passport. We will be notifying them that until further notice, they must refrain from flying any pairings with Germany as their destination. Once US Airways has been informed what paperwork is required, the affected crew members will be notified and given instructions how to go about obtaining it. If you have any questions, please contact your base management.

Thank you.
