Dear Members,
There is a new policy for rescinding retirement with USAirways. The policy change states: Rescinding of retirement between March 1 and May 1, 2005 is presently 15 days notice to the company. After May 1, it will be a 30 day notice requirement.
Please note and take in consideration that the PBGC has stated that they will be unable to provide an estimated amount of pension benefit to the retiree until approximately 3 weeks prior to retirement. You can still rescind retirement with the PBGC 1 day prior to the check being cut, however it is more important to consider that when you rescind with the company, you give them the proper required notification above, otherwise, you will not be able to continue employment with USAirways if you give notification beyond the required notification to rescind. Also, if you do opt to rescind you retirement for a later date, you will no longer eligible for the "Early Retirement Incentive".
More information about rescinding retirement with USAirways is located on theHUB.

Dear Members,
Currently, catering in the following locations should be providing gloves for the PSK: PIT, CLT, PHL, DCA, BOS and LGA. We have been advised that FLL will soon be providing gloves as well. Additionally, extra supplies of gloves are now being provisioned for distribution in base crew rooms.
If the supply of gloves has been depleted from a PSK, please red seal and request a new one from catering. Should you encounter any of the stations listed that cannot provide you with either a new PSK kit, or refresh the PSK with additional gloves, please provide Ask Inflight specific flight numbers, dates, times, etc. for us to follow up with the appropriate departments.
As a reminder, gloves from the Supplemental Equipment Pouches (SEP) are for use only with First Aid or medical events: See FA Emergency Manual, Chapter 7, First Aid.
