VF 7 And Involuntary Furlough Notice

Voluntary Furlough 7 Begins September 1

94 Flight Attendants were awarded the VF 7. Seniority ranged from 2/27/78-8/15/99. Award notices were mailed today and will be posted on The Hub July 29.

Involuntary Furloughs Begin September 1 and September 4.

Regrettably 190 Flight Attendants will be involuntarily furloughed on September 1 and September 4. Of these 190, 76 are currently active and 114 are inactive. The last person to be furloughed is employee number 90443, F/A Efford from the class of 8/29/99. Lists are posted in the crewroom and will be available on The Hub on Tuesday, July 29. Furlough notices will also be mailed July 29.

At the current time we have no further information on displacements as a result of these furloughs.

The company will be offering another VSIP (voluntary separation incentive package). We will provide more information as it becomes available.
