MEC Grievance  2007- 010- 30- 99- 02 Section 9 H. 3

This MEC Grievance has been withdrawn.

Issue in Question.
Denied Claims......
After investigating this issue, MEC Grievance Department has concluded that there was no violation.

As far as being re-scheduled during your trip, you are Guarantee the amount of your original trip or if: You go over the amount with the rescheduled trip you get the higher of the two. We lost Crew Substitution ( Leg-by-Leg), a while ago with the Me-2 clause, when the Pilots lost or gave up what we had which was Leg By Leg, Crew Sub.

Our language states, the greater of the two, by that it means you can not make less than you went to the airport to fly, you received the greater of the two, which is what you were suppose to get with your original trip or if your rescheduled trip has more flight time than your original trip you receive the greater of the two.

Example
Your Original Trip is worth        16:23
You are rescheduled and your total Flight time is 14:10    your claim is 2:13  total = 16:23
You are rescheduled and your total Flight time is 17: 28    You will be paid 17:28
