LAS HOTEL HOMICIDE

Las Vegas police and the Company confirm that a homicide occurred at the LAS property early Wednesday morning. Newspaper accounts say that two construction workers staying at the property got into an argument and one worker was fatally stabbed. The other worker has been arrested and charged with one count of murder with a deadly weapon and is being held without bail in the Clark County Detention Center.

The property is undergoing renovation and it is not known whether the two workers involved were working at the property. I made repeated attempts to contact the property General Manager yesterday that went unanswered. I also attempted to contact Company officials yesterday.

Late yesterday, Mike Finn, Director of Crew Resources, confirmed the incident and informed me the Company will investigate this morning. Mr. Finn acknowledged the Company will also make plans to relocate to a new property.

I have been told the property has increased security.

The AFA will be in contact with the Company this morning regarding short and long term changes. Crews will be advised accordingly.
