MEC to Meet with Lakefield and Ashby

The US Airways MEC will meet in a closed session this week with Mr. Lakefield and Mr. Ashby. We have heard a final report from our financial advisor and members of the MEC wanted to have a face-to-face meeting in order to express a variety of concerns. We will report out to you subsequent to that meeting.

Voluntary Separation (VSIP) Update

The voluntary separation results will be posted on The Hub later this week. Approximately 200 flight attendants have applied for the VSIP. The majority of these members are already on some type of leave.

September VPLOA's

The Company may offer monthly leaves in September. Inflight must receive your bid form no later than July 15th.

2005 Global Bid

2005 Domestic Option Bidding and 2005 International Transoceanic Bidding is now open. All flight attendants must participate in this bid. This includes flight attendants on leave status. Failure to bid will result in assignment to the Non-Option (85-Hour). Bids can only be submitted via The Hub and no later than Sunday, August 1, 2004. Results will be posted no later than August 31, 2004.
