CREW ACCOMMODATIONS UPDATE / JANUARY

SEA / L : A site inspection was performed in this market in January.
Three properties were visited plus the incumbent. AFA and ALPA recommended the continued use of the incumbent. The company has decided to move from the incumbent to one of the AFA and ALPA recommended properties effective February 1st.

CMH / L : A site inspection was performed in this market in January.
Four properties were visited plus the incumbent. AFA and ALPA recommended three of the properties in addition to the incumbent. A decision has not been made at this time.

PHX / L : A site inspection was performed in this market in January.
One property was visited for a possible short term relocation due to an occupancy conflict during the Baseball Spring Training season. A decision has not been made at this time.

MCO / L : A site inspection was scheduled for this market in January but, then cancelled by the company. The reason given AFA was that the properties that responded to the bid were higher in cost and would not be considered because of this . The incumbent was chosen by the company with noted past deficiencies and with no involvement from AFA and ALPA.

EWR / S : A site inspection was scheduled for this market for late December but, then cancelled by the company. The reason for this action seems to be that only three of the lowest bids were considered, the incumbent was one of these. The incumbent was chosen by the company with noted past deficiencies and with no involvement from AFA and ALPA.

SFO / L : After a last chance attempt to negotiate a contract renewal with one of the two incumbents a new property was chosen with a three year contract by the company.
AFA and ALPA learned of this decision only after asking the senior buyer for the company about this market.
This property was chosen without a site inspection being performed by anyone.
AFA and ALPA had no involvement with this decision and strongly disagree with it.
