Dear Members,

NEW ID CARDS

If you have picked up a new ID card, please check the expiration date on the right edge of the card. In most cases it is your birth date followed by either 2007 or 2008. If your card is due to expire shortly or has already expired please call your supervisor on Monday for instructions. This came to the attention of the Union this weekend and, when contacted, Company officials notified us to have anyone in this situation contact Inflight Services on Monday.

NON REVENUE TRAVEL

Rumors have been circulating the Company has decided to use a first come first serve system versus a seniority based system for non revenue travel. As late as Friday, senior Company officials have told me that no decision has been reached regarding the boarding method for non revenue travel.

East agents are being trained on the former America West, SHARES, reservation system. The Company plans to "cut over" to the SHARES system in March. The current SHARES system is set up for first come first serve but the system can be changed at any time.

I do not know what boarding method the Company will decide to use. I do know the Company would not inform one group of employees prior to making a general announcement to ALL employees. AFA and the other East labor groups have lobbied strongly for a seniority based system as we feel it is the only fair method of determining non revenue boarding priority.

Thank you,

Mike Flores, President
US Airways Master Executive Council
