This afternoon in a presentation at the January MEC meeting in Charlotte, LEC President Mark Gentile was presented with a certificate and declaration from Pat Friend AFA International President, proclaiming that...

"In honor of the outstanding roster of AFA-CWA Council 40 union leaders, and in recognition of their dedication to our union and to the professional Flight Attendants of US Airways Council 40, Effective March 1, 2008 AFA-CWA Council 40 will forever be reserved for the US Airways Pittsburgh Flight Attendants and their leadership."

Thank you to all of the current/past officers and volunteers that have served Council 40.

All of the MEC expressed their gratitude to Mark for all of his hard work during the closure of PIT.
