Dear Members,

The Early Retirement Incentive (ERI) provision, that is in our ratified 2004 agreement, deadline is tomorrow, March 1, 2005, at midnight. If you are considering taking advantage of this "incentive", please fill out the application of "Intent to Retire by 2005" located on theHUB.

You can still retire beyond March 1, 2005, if you so choose to elect retirement sometime in 2005. However, the ERI monthly $300 offer that is in our ratified provision that is to commence in 2006 will not be available for you to sign up for after midnight, March 1, 2005. Also, even if you take advantage of the ERI and sign up before the deadline, you can still rescind your retirement with USAirways and choose another retirement date in 2005. If a flight attendant makes any changes to his/her requested retirement date after the March 1, 2005 deadline, you will be ineligible for the ERI severance payments. Therefore, please use care in selecting your retirement date. Once again, the deadline for submitting the form is March 1, 2005.

If you have any problem with this, call your supervisor first. If you can't reach them, call your local union representative for assistance or for further information if needed.
