Policies and Procedures Hotsheet - Flight Attendant Cleaning and Airbus Full Cart

On March 1, 2005, the new cabin cleaning provision of the AFA-US Airways Flight Attendant Agreement will go into effect. The cost savings resulting from this change will be from the increased number of flight attendant cleaning stations, as well as the reduced amount of time aircraft spend on the ground. The information contained in this *PDF file, defines the stations for which the Flight Attendants are now responsible for tidying, as well as the in-flight, post arrival and other cleaning procedures. Accomplishing the procedures outlined in this publication will help ensure a clean, comfortable environment for our customers. Detailed information may be referenced in the F/A Policies and Procedures Manual, Chapter 2, available on theHub/Inflight Services home page/Forms and Publications.

Also included in this downloadable publication, beginning March 7, 2005, all A319/A320/A321 galley pack-outs will begin the transition from two half-size beverage carts to one full-size beverage cart. This change is being made to provide a more stable means of serving beverages in the aisle and to promote consistent service procedures across US Airways’ fleet. The following provides pack-out and procedural changes associated with this transition. Detailed procedures may be referenced in the F/A Policies and Procedures Manual, Chapter 4, on theHub/Inflight Services home page/Forms and Publications.
