Dear Reserve Members,

A reminder of language that DID NOT change regarding OPR Duty according to section 11-10.I.1.b. states: A reserve flight attendant awarded or assigned OPR duty MUST BE available for a MINIMUM of 3 duty periods and LEGAL for at least eighteen (18) block hours. Unless you choose to give up your OFF days when called.

This means that if you are only available for 2 days or 1 day before your OFF/INV day, then you can not stand OPR duty.

Also, you can only be INVOLUNTARILY ASSIGNED OPR duty (2) twice in a month, unless all other available reserve flight attendants in that domicile have had OPR duty (2) twice in one month. Section 11-10.I.2.

This is old language that all reserves should be familiar with. I have also sent a reminder to crew scheduling.
