Subject:  LOD/O Information

With the addition of Barcelona and Venice to the transatlantic schedule and the added frequency to Frankfurt, there are additional opportunities for flight attendants to enter the LOD/O Program.

Effective with the May 1, 2005 bid and corresponding with the removal of the ITD fence, additions to and removals from the LOD/O program will follow the contractual language in Section 13 of the Agreement. The following are key points to keep in mind:

A flight attendant who has qualified for the LOD/O program, must bid into the program at least 60 days prior to the effective date of the award.

A flight attendant who no longer wishes to participate in the LOD/O program shall give the company 90 days written notice.

With the removal of the ITD fence, Spanish LOD/O flight attendants will have the ability to fly to Spain, Latin America and the Caribbean. German LOD/O's will be able to fly to Frankfurt and Munich, Dutch LOD/O's to Amsterdam, French LOD/O's to Paris and Italian LOD/O's to Rome and Venice.

If you are interested in participating in the LOD/O program
and are already language qualified, please submit a LOD/O Request Form to Inflight Administration. The form is available on theHub and in the flight attendant crew rooms.

The deadline for May is March 1st.

Flight attendants currently flying as a LOD/O do not need to submit a form to continue flying LOD/O trips in their current language.

Remember, additional LOD/O flight attendants are needed
for German, Italian and Spanish.

Questions about the program can be directed to Inflight Administration, 1-800-327-0117 prompts 1, 5, 4, 5.

Subject:  April Flying Obligation

The following message was placed on the CBS Bulletin Board this afternoon.

Flight attendant staffing projections for April 2005 indicate that staffing  levels will be at a deficit in BOS, CLT, DCA and PHL. As a result, obligations for April will be increased by 5 hours in the those bases.

There is not an increase in the domestic bases of LGA or PIT nor is there an increase in either of the ITD bases (CLW or PHW).

The option obligation increase is your option plus 5:00.
The non-option obligation increase is your line value plus 5:00. Additional information may be found on theHub.
