Dear Members, UHC Computer
Error on some Explanation Of Benefit's
Please check your Explanation of Benefits from UHC if you have seen your primary
care physician between January 1, 2007 and the present. They have experienced a
computer error that was not coding primary care physicians appropriately and
sending a statement that the member owed a $40.00 co-payment instead of $25.00.
You can check your Explanation of Benefits (EOB) by going to
www.myuhc.com website.. Log on and go to
"claims center" and then "view claims" Your Explanation of Benefits will be
found there for any medical service received to date. If there is an error
please contact the customer service center at 800-520-0811. They will correct
the problem. UHC is currently working to go back and review the claims, but
appreciate the call in case they have missed yours!
