Dear Members,

FLIGHT ATTENDANT AGREEMENT AND TRANSITION AGREEMENT

Hard copies of the Flight Attendant Agreement and the Transition Agreement are now available.

The Flight Attendant Agreement has been shipped to each base for distribution and can be picked up at either the crew service center or the Inflight Service office in your base. Rather than publish the 2004 Transformation Agreement as an additional stand alone publication similar to the previous 2002 Restructuring Agreements the decision was made to do a complete rewrite of the 2000 Flight Attendant Agreement to include all the changes that have occurred in the contract. Therefore, the new agreement is a compilation of the 2000 Flight Attendant Agreement, the July and December 2002 Restructuring Agreements and the 2004 Transformation Agreement.

The Flight Attendant Agreement is also available online via theHub and the US Airways AFA website at www.afausairways.org

The Transition Agreement between the Association of Flight Attendants at US Airways and America West and the Company has been printed and a copy placed in each flight attendant's mail file. This Agreement covers the period of separate operations before the two carriers are operationally integrated. Operational Flight Attendant Integration will occur after the seniority lists and contracts of both AFA groups have been merged and after the company obtains a single operating certificate. The integration of the two carriers and flight attendant workforces is not expected until mid 2007 or beyond.

The Transition Agreement is also available on theHub and the US Airways AFA website. A complete discussion of the Transition Agreement is also posted on our web site at: http://www.afausairways.org/Eline/jan20_06.htm
.

Thank you,

The Master Executive Council
