Furlough Notices Mailed

Involuntary Furlough Notices were mailed today. These furloughs are effective
January 7, 2003. December seniority number 9603 is the most senior to be
furloughed. This seniority number is in the class of May 1, 2000 and affects the
bottom 3 flight attendants of this class and all those junior to this class.
Breakdown as follows:
PIT-35
PHL-133
PHW-17
DCA-13
BOS-11
LGA-54
The
company will be mailing an additional packet of information later this week.
This packet will include pass information and other items. Affected flight
attendants should read Section 19 of the flight attendant agreement.
