CREW ACCOMMODATIONS

ATL/L - The site inspection process has been completed. The incumbent property will continue to be used in this market.
PUJ/* - The site inspection process has been completed. Most properties solicited for crew business in this market were not interested due to high occupancy. Only one property was visited and chosen. A CBS message has already been sent out referring to the property name and location. Crewmembers are entitled to use the VIP lounge at the airport. 24-hour security mans the entrance of the property and security is discreetly evident throughout the grounds and buildings. The company was able to secure a room rate only therefore various meal plans are available. A list of rates and hours of service will be provided at the front desk upon check-in.
One liter / four bottles of water will be supplied in each crew room at no charge. FYI -Drinking the tap water in the room is not recommended. Beverages served with ice and the ice machines were fine as the ice is made with filtered water. Individuals attending the site inspection did use the tap water to brush their teeth with no ill effects. Beverages, in the restaurants made with water i.e. coffee/tea were fine.
Due to the tropical climate and especially if it has rained any during the day, mosquitoes may be a nuisance. Packing a bug repellant will help keep the pests away. During the early morning hours/ dusk and evening, it is recommended to keep the sliders to your room closed.
Crews will be placed in Deluxe rooms which are equipped with coffee maker / iron and ironing board (placement of iron/iron boards in these rooms should be completed by months end) a/c, TV, several channels, two queen size beds w/triple sheeting, amenity kits, ice buckets w/glasses, beach towels (2), safe, you will receive a key upon check-in, please remember to return key upon checking out, sorry no face cloths at the entire resort, alarm clock, desk area and telephone. You may, upon checking - in request an ocean view room if not already given. If available your request will be granted.
Crews may also be placed in Superior rooms or Villas depending upon occupancy. Both have the same amenities except a desk and iron/iron boards. A request of an iron/iron board may be made by contacting the front desk and it will be delivered to your room. The Villas are directly on the beach and during high occupancy of the Deluxe/Superior rooms, will be used for crews. Each Villa is equipped with either three or two private/locked, similar to a regular hotel room (all amenities i.e. private bath, TV, phone etc.) with a small pass through for a common kitchen area and sitting area.
The property sits on a private beach, with chase lounges everywhere, a marina on one end and a golf course on the other. There is an ecological trail, petting zoo, horseback riding, water sports, exercise facility, swimming pool and tennis. Rental of two/four seated golf carts are available to tour or tool around the property. Visit the tourist office or front desk for information on rental fees for golf / horseback riding / shopping excursions, approximate 45-minute drive from the
property/ maximum four hour excursion etc.
YYZ/* - A site inspection will commence on December 9-10 for properties in this market. The incumbent is included among the other properties solicited.
LAX/L - The Company is still in the process of soliciting properties in this market. A site inspection may be scheduled for early January/04. AFA looks forward to resolutions in this market.
