MEMBER SURVEY

The single agreement negotiations between the Union and the Company are ongoing. The Joint Negotiating Committee (JNC) and the Company will soon enter into discussions regarding the "money" sections of the agreement. Upcoming sections such as Scheduling, Hours of Service, International, Reserve, Sick, Vacation, Compensation, Expenses and Duration are slated for discussion.

Before the JNC enters into these discussions we want your feedback. A member survey will be conducted by the Wilson Center for Public Research beginning on September 5, 2007.

In order for the survey to be valid, it will be conducted via a phone poll using a statistical sampling of Flight Attendants. The sampling is intended to reach a cross section of the membership broken down by seniority, domicile, lineholder/reserve status, age and gender. The Wilson Center indicates that based on our membership demographics, over 700 Flight Attendants will need to be contacted.

The information derived from the survey will be compiled and analyzed by the Wilson Center and then reviewed with the East and West Master Executive Councils and the Joint Negotiating Committee.

The survey consists of 31 questions. The questions are in various forms-some require specific responses and others are more open ended, thus allowing for an expanded response.

In order for the JNC to have as much member feedback as possible it is vital that if you are contacted, you take the time to complete the survey. Again, the survey will begin on September 5th and the MEC and the JNC both would appreciate your participation if contacted.

Thank you,

Mike Flores, President
The US Airways Master Executive Council
