BENEFITS UPDATE

1. FMLA/PCL

For those Flight Attendants who have intermittent FLMA or PCL you will need to contact Inflight Administration in Tempe, AZ to have your sick call converted from SCK to FML or PCL/P. You may contact them at 480-693-3239. An Inflight administration staff member will answer the telephone form 10 AM EDT to 8 PM EDT Monday - Friday.

2. SHUTTLE RETIREMENT AND THE PBGC

If you are a former Shuttle Flight Attendant, you should have received a letter from the PBGC regarding your retirement. You have until the end of September to make the decision if you wish to begin collecting your pension benefits at the Shuttle Normal Retirement age of 62. If you have not received a letter from the PBGC, please contact them at 800-400-7242 and ask for one. You must notify the PBGC of your decision.

3. DEPENDENT AUDIT VERIFICATION

Time is running out to complete the BUDCO Dependent Verification Audit forms for US Airways employees. If you have not completed this information your dependents could lose their health insurance coverage on September 1, 2007. All forms are due back to BUDCO no later than August 31, 2007. You may contact BUDCO at 888-326-7201 Monday - Friday from 11am - 8 pm EDT. The fax number for your form is 800-964-0382. East Flight Attendants who participated in the 2005 Dependent Verification Audit and have not had a qualifying dependent or status change should not have received an Audit package. If you received a package you must return the enclosed forms no later than August 31, 2007.

4. UNITED HEALTH CARE

US Airways met with all of the Unions on the property to discuss issues employees are still enduring with United Health Care. This includes no providers in an area, complaints by providers, and providers who are dropping United Health Care coverage. If you are having trouble finding a provider or your physician is experiencing problems with United Health Care you can e-mail me with your concerns at: pfrishkorn@afausairways.org.

Please note that you or your physician will received a follow up contact from United Health Care. A physician who does not participate in the United Health Care network may be offered the opportunity to participate.

Please be aware that management has made it very clear that they are not planning on dropping United Health Care at this time or adding any other insurance carriers as an option for employees.

5. LOOKING FOR ASSISTANCE ON HEALTH CARE ISSUES?

If you are looking for a specialist or have questions about disease management, Please contact www.myuhc.com. Questions on your drug can be found at www.caremark.com.
