Increased Security Measures

In response to the security threat in the UK, the TSA has raised the threat level for all flights departing the UK. Increased security measures have been implemented for ALL domestic flights and flights departing U.S. and non-U.S. (except UK)
locations.

Increased measures for domestic flights and flights departing U.S. and non-U.S. locations include but are not limited to:

-- Restricting the carriage of liquids into sterile areas and onboard the aircraft.
    - EXCEPTIONS: Milk for a traveling baby, prescription/essential non-prescription medicines.

-- UK locations ONLY: ALL footwear is removed and x-ray screened.

Increased measures for flights departing the UK include but are not limited to:

-- Restricting carry-on requirements through the security checkpoint to a single transparent sealable plastic bag per passenger (contents: pocket size wallets/purses, travel documents, prescription medicines/medical items essential for flight, glasses/sunglasses without a case, baby/feminine sanitary items, keys). Nothing may be carried in pockets.

-- Restricting any type of liquids into sterile areas and onboard aircraft. Crewmembers may be subject to the same security checks as passengers and must comply with all airport security procedures. Avoid challenging security personnel.

Crewmembers should anticipate longer lines at security, so please plan accordingly.
