Subject: Ramp Access
According to TSA guidelines, flight attendants are not permitted access to the ramp to drop off or retrieve crew baggage. Please follow these current procedures when retrieving deadhead crew baggage.
CURRENT DEADHEAD CREW BAGGAGE PROCEDURES
Uniformed crewmembers displaying proper ID are permitted to use these deadheading crew baggage procedures. If sufficient space doesn't exist in the cabin, to store your baggage, crewmembers are to obtain a
Gate Valet tag from the gate agent and simply place the bag near the loading bridge door. Upon arrival in the down line location, your baggage should be returned to the loading bridge for retrieval.
The "CREW" tags are no longer part of any valid procedure and should be removed.
