Dear Members,

Important information regarding Premiums for International and non-transoceanic...

Teddy

-----------------

The following CBS message was posted by John McCann this morning.

The following CBS message was sent to all Flight Attendants today.

Due to technical problems, senior premium for international non-transoceanic flights was paid at the domestic rate of $2.50 per hour VS $4.50 as stipulated by the most recent Working Agreement for Feb and March 2005. Affected Flight Attendants have been identified and will be paid the difference in their April 30th check. The "Sr Late" entry will show on the April 30th pay check stub. The same situation will occur for April activity. Similarly, anyone who is paid domestic senior premium for international non-transoceanic flights in April will be identified and the difference will be paid on May 30th check. This problem will be corrected for May 2005. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you.

Thank you.

- Subject: Comments on ETB -

Comments on the Trade Board (ETB):  The ETB environment should be held to the  highest standards and entries must be professional at all times.  During the  testing and practice period some flight attendants entered hurtful and  unprofessional comments about peers.  Putting negative statements such as  "I do no want to fly with Fill the Blank!" will not be allowed.  Those types  of comments are unprofessional and will not be tolerated.  By way of this  memo flight attendants are being officially notified that Crew Schedulers  will remove any bid with such an entry in the Comments space when notified.

Additionally, incentive bonus entries such as, "I will pay $100 if you  take my trip" were also placed in the Comment space to entice other  flight attendants to pick up a particular trip.  The Company and the AFA  do not approve of incentive bonuses because there is a tax liability and  other complications involved with the exchange of money.  Therefore, such  entries will not be allowed in the Trade Board environment and the bid  will be removed if the Crew Scheduler is notified.
