Dear Members,

NEW Cabin Seat Agreement!!

Alaska Airlines

May 1, 2009 marks the first day of our reciprocal cabin seat agreement with Alaska Airlines. As with all Reciprocal Cabin Seat Agreements, the Alaska Airlines agreement allows US Airways F/As to take any open passenger seat free of charge once all paying and stand-by passengers have boarded.

Please remember: When traveling on other airlines, it is expected that all US Airways employees respect the other airlines' policies and procedures for travel (example: carry-on baggage policy, check-in process for cabin seat agreements).

A complete list of reciprocal agreements are available on theHub as well as the Jumpseat section at the AFA US Airways website.

Jumpseat Attire

The dress code policy for jumpseat attire is business casual attire, despite recent changes to the Envoy/First Class employee leisure travel dress code allowing jeans.

Persons traveling on the jumpseat, while not part of the working crew, must present a professional appearance and comply with the Dress Guidelines for Business Travel. The dress guidelines are listed in the Employee Travel Guide (page 37) as posted on Wings/theHub and summarized in the FAPP Jumpseat chapter dated 04 08 2009 for your convenience. (See Below)

We thank you for presenting a professional appearance while traveling on the jumpseat.
