Dear Members,

  • As of today’s date, April 12, there are 470 forms received for the VFLR.
  • As a reminder, Mid Atlantic flight Attendants do have Jumpseat privileges on ALL Mainline flights. The information below is directly taken from the "Flow Through" language of Mid Atlantic and Mainline negotiated in early 2004:

For as long as Mid Atlantic remains the property of US Airways Group, any unoccupied mainline jumpseat will be available to Mid Atlantic flight attendants. Priority for mainline jumpseat shall be after all mainline flight attendants are accommodated and shall be based on MidAtlantic flight attendant competitive bidding.

Please make note for future reference.

  • The PHL Local Officer elections are currently being held; Ballots must be postmarked by April 18. If you have not received your ballot, please contact Philadelphia Local at 1-215-492-0840 to receive one.
  • Regarding the Washington Base Council 41 recent election results:

Alin Boswell Local Executive Council President - Alin@afausairways.org

Katie Whitney Local Executive Council  Vice President - KWhitney@afausairways.org

Stephen Schembs, Local Executive Council Secretary/Treasurer - SSchembs@afausairways.org
